The road brings you here.
The moment keeps you.
A refined stop at Mile 56 Southbound — where fresh-brewed coffee, thoughtfully crafted drinks, and genuine hospitality turn a brief pause into something worth remembering.
A longstanding tradition of warmth and quality along Maine's southern coast.
More than a stop —
a destination.
Nestled along the southern Maine landscape at Mile 56 Southbound, Cumberland Service Plaza has been a trusted refuge for travelers and a neighborhood staple for locals. We believe that the best stops along the road aren't defined by how quickly you leave — they're defined by how welcome you feel when you arrive.
Our café and bar bring together the comfort of a classic neighborhood gathering place with the refined sensibility of a well-curated menu. Every cup of coffee is pulled with care. Every drink is mixed with intention. Every guest is treated like someone who belongs here.
Whether you're passing through on a long drive or settling in for a quiet evening, we've built a space where the pace slows just enough for you to breathe — and where the quality speaks for itself.
